He has just started being very chatty
We embarked on the potty training process by purchasing two potty’s last weekend and I have started by putting her on the potty when I go to the toilet and before she gets into the bath. And tonight she did her first poo in her potty, when she stood up and looked down she looked quite horrified that she had made that ‘mess’ but I was praising her for doing so well .. I think she is a little confused about it all but she did good
Its 5 years today we laid dad to rest in the family plot at Karori cemetery. RIP Dad, you would have been 69 today. x
Some old pics I recently found.

Jonny finally after 7 months and 3 days cut his first tooth
Its been along time coming as he has been slobbering over everything for a few weeks and now has something to show for it! Also very thankful that he is 99% bottle fed these days – as ouch!
Bring on the rest my clever, smiley little man.
Charlies birthday started with her opening her presents before going to nursery for the day and spending her last day in ‘First Steps’ as she starts in ‘Toddlers’ on Tuesday.

Photos with mum and dad before going to nursey.

Charlies only quiet time of the day, sitting down watching her new Dora the Explorer DVD.

The cake! I never thought makeing a ‘2′ would be so difficult, but it looked okay from a distance and it tasted yummy

Cake time. It had been a long day for a little girl and she was getting grumpy until she saw the cake
Last picture of the day. Megs, Daddy and Jonny

I took Jonny to the Health Visitor last week for a check up now that he is 6 months old. He now weighs a healthy 10kgs and is 75cm long (off the growth charts) so a very happy and healthy little boy. He has just started to have 3 meals a day and now eats 3/4 of a weetbix for breakfast and he seems to like it very much! He is now pretty much on full time bottle now – so I’m stoked as I have almost got my body back to myself
Its hard to believe Charlie is two this Friday as that time seems to have gone so quickly! She is moving into the Toddler’s class at her nursery, she has been doing trial ‘hour’s and she seems to be settling in well with that group. I think as its all 2 and 3 year olds this will help her speech development as well as help with the potty training (or at least I hope so) when we start that little process
I made the mistake of taking her for a piggy back a couple of weeks ago .. and now every time I kneel down she thinks thats her cue to climb on my back! She no feather weight at 15kgs and 93cm tall!
I love this picture of the them
